AMA Fitness is now offering small, personalized Yoga classes at the fitness center!!!
Doug Warner, Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance, (RYT-200) is offering small, personalized classes in Classical Yoga, from noon-1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The small class size, (6-7 students max.), allows Doug to tailor his classes to the students' needs and level of experience. If you want Yoga, but have been put-off by big, impersonal classes where you get lost in a sea of spandex, Doug's classes are for you.
Doug has 17 years experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist, (MA 18608), 12 years at AMA, and is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. His knowledge of anatomy and body mechanics, combined with his study of the wisdom and teachings of Yoga, allows Doug to provide safe, yet challenging Yoga instruction to beginners as well as experienced students.

Yoga's history dates back over 5000 years and its many benefits have been proven through time. Yoga provides the student with increased flexibility, core conditioning, an increase in total body strength, and more effective breathing during exercise. Yoga also helps prevent injuries by increasing range of motion at the joints. Many participants have found that Yoga improves their golf or tennis game dramatically. Yoga has also proven to be very effective in combating stress as well as helping to strengthen the immune system while contributing to one's overall health. If you are already training at AMA, Yoga can be a great support to your workouts. Doug can coordinate with your current trainer to help compose the optimum training regimen for you.

Call Doug at (727) 804-5356 to reserve your space in one of AMA's Yoga classes. Cost per one hour group session is $25.00. Personal Yoga instruction is available upon request as well.
In addition to Yoga Classes...
Doug is certified in Swedish Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Thai Medical Massage, and is a Massage Therapy instructor. In order to enhance his bodywork skills, Doug recently became a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
