AMA Fitness Center is dedicated to ensuring YOUR success and helping make
fitness fun. It's important for you to know that you have a trainer who is well
educated in fitness and meets the necessary requirements to properly train you.
Our trainers are degreed and certified with the National Academy of Sports
Medicine and have been serving the Tampa Bay area since 1990.
Programs custom designed for YOU
All programs are designed based on your individual needs and goals. An initial
consultation is conducted upon your first visit with your trainer that includes:
- Body Fat Analysis
- Weigh In
- Blood Pressure
- Nutrition/Lifestyle Analysis
- Goal Setting
Based on this evaluation your trainer will design a customized fitness program
tailored to your specific needs and provide you with the nutritional guidance
needed to help you attain your goals. Your trainer will be there to guide you
every step of the way which will allow you to achieve maximum results in the
most efficient amount of time.

I have been a client of AMA for over seven years. Honestly, in the beginning I hated every minute of my workouts! Then something unexpected happened - I started to look and feel better and began to enjoy and look forward to my time at AMA. Working out is now an essential part of my lifestyle and spend four hours a week working out and doing pilates at AMA Fitness Center... a big thanks to Joe, Jeff and Susan.

It's been a pleasure to train at AMA since I began in February of 2007. The staff takes their job very seriously with goals customized to my needs. They are organized in a way that is greatly appreciated in my busy and hectic life. Something I find beneficial are the varied routines with my trainer versus the same old routine I would use when on my own. But the best news? The training keeps me accountable to my goals -- which has allowed me to take off over 40 lbs. so far -- a big deal when you only stand 5'4" high. Give them a try, you won't regret it!
